St. Luke’s Annual Souper Bowl a Success

By: Kate Parker-Burgard, Center for Leadership Director
This year, St. Luke’s once again celebrated the Super Bowl by participating in the local Souper Bowl with Person-to-Person (P2P). While many people were excited about the big game, there was also a lot of enthusiasm around feeding our neighbors in need. Thank you to everyone who contributed, St. Luke’s beat our record of 1,115 pounds by collecting 1,238 pounds of food this year. Rick Nixon of P2P wrote, “In addition to helping P2P operate, food drives provide the selection of name brands our clients and their children so appreciate, but often cannot afford. St. Luke’s generosity will bring much joy to so many families. A sincere thank you from P2P and our community!”
