Fifth Grade Grandparents and Special Friends Day

By: Cindy Dill, Director of Annual Giving & Senior Gift
One of the exciting springtime events at St. Luke’s is our fifth grade Grandparents & Special Friends Day. On May 5, nearly 50 guests came from across the country to join their fifth grader for this special event.

We kicked off the day with breakfast in the Athletics Center, followed by a warm welcome from our Head of School Mark Davis and Head of Middle School Amber Berry. Guests were treated to a performance by our 5th and 6th Grade choruses — this year’s first public performance — under the skillful direction of Music Department Chair Dale Griffa.

Grandparents and special friends were then invited inside the classrooms for a taste of what it is like to be a St. Luke’s fifth grader. Click here to see additional photos from the day, and visit the Class of 2029 Grandparents & Special Friends Day webpage for more information.
