Mud, Rain Trouble Storm

FT 3 3
Tough afternoon for the Storm as we were held to a 3-3 tie against Unquowa School of Fairfield. With our superb facilities in New Canaan, it can be a shock to a player's system to find yourself on a narrow field that's been taking rain all day. The boys may have let it get into their heads, resulting in missed passes. We weren't as crisp as usual, but we'll come back! Smart and tenacious defending by co-captain Blake Guilfoyle '27 kept the Storm in the match in the final minutes, but we couldn't close the door. There were nice bright spots with terrific goals by Pedro Memoria '28, Alex Hill '27, and Max Bravo-Ferrer '28 whose shot almost blew through the back of the net.

We will regroup and aim for an even better result next week. On Thursday, November 3, we will be on the road again at King School. 3:30 PM kick-off.
