The St. Luke’s runner completed the course in a time of 16:41.7, beating the second place runner from Brunswick School by 18 seconds.

Danny’s brother, Brian Gall ’23, finished second for St. Luke’s and seventh place overall, with a time of 17:29.9. Both boys were named FAA All-League.

Will Drapkin ’25 was next across the finish line for the Storm, finishing 15th overall, with a time of 18:27.6.

In the girls race, Kathleen Coffey ’25 enjoyed another fine race for the Storm, finishing with a time of 21:44.4 and 13th overall. Hanna Zable ’25 finished second for St. Luke’s and 17th overall, with a time of 22:10.0.

Danny was proud of his run and paid tribute to his coaches and teammates: “Winning the championship was a great feeling. It has been my dream since I started running varsity in 8th grade. To finally see it realized meant so much to me. Running with SLS has been one of the greatest opportunities of my high school career. The support that I've received from everyone, especially Coach Spencer, Coach Kohl, and Coach Foster, is overwhelming, and I'm incredibly grateful. Besides that, the team has been a constant source of camaraderie and humor during tough workouts and long-haul rides to meets.”
