Seven St. Luke’s Seniors in KMA’s Young Artists Exhibition

The Katonah Museum of Art’s Young Artists 2023 exhibition features art from seven St. Luke’s seniors: Sophie Dekker, Josephine DeMarco, George Foster, Kiley Galvin, Marissa Kramer,  Eoin Mueller, and Brielle Renwick. Each student will have one work on display at the exhibition, which runs until Feb. 26. Entry into the exhibition is free, but tickets must be reserved in advance

Artwork on display includes:
  • Sophie Dekker, College, Mixed Media
  • Josephine DeMarco, Shards, Mixed Media
  • George Foster, Untitled, Inkjet Print from Digital Negative
  • Kiley Galvin, Something in the Orange, Inkjet Print from Digital Negative
  • Marissa Kramer, When Will It End?, Mixed Media
  • Eoin Mueller, Cottage in the Clouds, Inkjet Print from Digital Negative
  • Brielle Renwick, River Dance, Acrylic on Canvas
As part of the exhibition’s special programming, students had the opportunity to work with painter Tom Christopher on a mural in the atrium of the Katonah Museum of Art in honor of the 40th anniversary of Young Artists. Josephine DeMarco and Brielle Renwick embraced this opportunity to work with the artist and seniors from nearby high schools.

Artists and their families, friends, and teachers were invited to an opening ceremony at the museum on Sunday. Feb. 5.
