The St. Luke’s Parents Association hosted a Fireside Chat with Head of School Mary Halpin Carter. Dr. Carter shared observations about St. Luke’s from her new Head’s perspective,  offered insights into Strategic Plan priorities, and welcomed questions.

“The Parents’ Association was so thrilled to offer the opportunity for parents to come together and hear about Mary’s surprises and affirmations from her first seven months here on the Hilltop,” said Parents’ Association Co-President Suzanne Sherter. “As you sat in the fireplace commons, Mary’s warmth, humor, and kind demeanor made you quickly forget you were listening to our Head of School. It was like having a conversation with a friend. Mary’s expertise as an educator and her joyful, playful touches make her a great addition to the secret sauce here at St. Luke’s.”
