Fourteen Storm athletes were recognized by the Fairchester Athletic Association (FAA) for their outstanding contributions this winter season.

The girls varsity basketball team, who won the New England Tournament, the FAA Tournament, and the FAA regular season title, had four players honored by the league. Co-captains Mackenzie Nelson ’23 and Ava Sollenne ’23 were named All-FAA 1st Team. Brielle Renwick ’23 was named All-FAA 2nd Team, and Camdyn Nelson ’25 received an honorable mention.

St. Luke’s ice hockey enjoyed another tremendous season, finishing 11-5 overall. The team had a 9-3 record in the FAA regular season but lost a tough FAA championship game. George Foster ’23 and Aidan Flanagan ’25 received All-FAA 1st Team honors for their fantastic performances, and Eoin Mueller ’23 was given an honorable mention.

Boys basketball finished 5-3 in FAA play and reached the semifinals of the FAA tournament before falling to Brunswick School, the tournament winners. Storm basketball co-captains Ethan Crawford ’23 and Mason Pratt ’23 were recognized by the league for their efforts. Ethan was named FAA All-League 1st Team and Mason earned an honorable mention.

It was another fun season on the courts for the girls squash team, with two of their players being recognized by the FAA. Captain GiGi McWhorter ’25 was named All-FAA and Sofia Ortiz Salazar ’25 was given an honorable mention for their superb efforts.

Boys squash had another impressive campaign, winning a number of notable matches. The team had three players honored by the FAA, with Toby Bloch ’23 and Jack Lyons ’24 being named All-League and Peter Cioffi ’23 receiving an honorable mention.

In addition to the 14 FAA recipients, and despite the challenges presented by this winter’s warm temperatures, the St. Luke’s ski team enjoyed another season on the slopes and was able to compete in all their scheduled races. Thomas Connell ’25 had a standout season for the Storm. His stellar performance earned him All-NEPSAC honors. Teammate Paul Genna ’24 also enjoyed a terrific winter, earning a NEPSAC honorable mention. Please note, the FAA doesn’t have postseason awards for ski.
