Brunswick, fresh off their victory at New Englands, proved too strong for the Storm. Stewart Upson secured the only point for St. Luke's with a determined 3-2 win at the #1 position. More challenges ahead for the Storm, with a strong Hopkins team and NYS champs Rye Country Day left on the regular season schedule.

St. Luke's travelled to New Haven Wednesday for a tough test against Hopkins. The road-weary Storm, playing their 5th away match in as many days, couldn't quite produce the goods required to cause an upset, but showed patches of improved performance that they will hope to build on in the final week of the season. First, a well deserved break over the holiday weekend is in store.

St. Luke's were seeded in the 4th division of the New England Interscholastic Squash Championsips at Portsmout Abbey School in Rhode Island. They nearly scored an early upset with a narrow 4-3 loss to Berkshire. From there they posted back-to-back 5-2 wins again BB&N and Pomfret to finish in 5th place. The team benefited from 3 competitive matches in over a 24-hour span and will bring momentum back to New Canaan for the final 2 weeks of the season.

Crosstown rivals New Canaan High School avenged last season's loss to SLS at Nationals. The matches were close across the board, but only number 1 Stewart Upson was able to notch a win with a late comeback in the fifth game that saw him score the final 5 points of the match.

Boys Varsity Squash swept King in honor of their four senior players: Nihaal Kochar, Will Drapkin, Peter Lewis (c), and Jack Lyons (c). Next stop: Brunswick for the FAA Championships, where the Storm will face Hopkins to qualify for the final four.

Boys Varsity Squash faced a talented and deep Hopkins team as they attempted to qualify for the semfinals of the FAA Championships. The Storm played with discipline and showed progression from their performances earlier this season, but ultimately fell by a score of 7-0. Back to the practice courts in preparation for a big week coming: a local clash with NCHS followed by a trip to the New England Championships.
  • .

Boys Varsity Squash gained valuable experience on the road against a seasoned team of squash specialists at GFA. Will Drapkin and Jack Clavelli each did well to take a game off their respective opponents, but the Dragons showed no further weakness as they completed a clean sweep of the matches. Back to the practice courts for the Storm with a renewed sense of the work required to reach the next level.
