How do insects help us detect pollution? Can animal adaptations help us design better products? How do plants protect themselves from hungry herbivores? Led by St. Luke’s Science Department Chair Janet Jochem, we will unearth the answer to these questions and develop our own as we learn how to ask good questions, develop creative experiments and develop new products based on nature’s expertise. Using an inquiry-based approach, campers will actively engage in problem-solving skills while taking advantage of our beautiful campus for inspiration.
