What more ideal time than now to awaken your inner…artist, writer, creative? Summer is here and Silver Linings Creative Arts Camp is the perfect space to let your imagination run wild!
Each day of this two-week camp, we’ll get together for an hour of creativity to indulge in the arts. Led by middle school art teacher Haley Wulfman, campers will be invited to create artworks and DIY crafts, and respond to inspirational prompts and questions through art or writing. Whether binding a book, working on creative writing, crafting a duct tape wallet, or creating a painting, you’ll have the freedom to explore the projects that inspire you most. Campers will also be welcome to share any work with the group or in a collaborative online gallery space.
Interested in working on creative projects of your own, with the group? We’d love to have you!
Each camper should have drawing paper, pencils, colored pencils, watercolors or oil pastels, a firm or kneaded eraser, 3mm macramé cord, 3 colors of embroidery thread and embroidery needle, a few sheets of felt, and any color duct tapeIf you need to order them, the embedded links provide some suggestions.
Additional optional materials you may like to collect: markers, knitting needles and yarn, origami paper, cotton fabric, cotton thread, embroidery hoop, buttons, beads, etc.
