  • Gorgeous day for our Senior celebration but tough Loss for the team!

    It was such a lovely Senior celebration for Sofia Staikos this afternoon.  We will miss her smiling face on the Hilltop Tennis Courts.  She has been a valuable help to Coach Briggs and I for the last four years on Girls JV TENNIS.  A communicator and leader for the team, Providence College is truly lucky to be getting such an amazing young woman!

  • Tough loss on the Hilltop today

    It was a gorgeous day for tennis however a tough loss for THE STORM.  A special congratulations to our #2 Doubles team, Josie and Sophie, who came through with a Win.   Also a what a tough match on court #1 !! Eleora tied the match at 8-8  and ended up in a long tie breaker/battle and unfortunately lost at 11-13!!!

    So excited for all our girls for the match vs the Gunn School this past Wednesday!!!  We had a couple of our players out for the match, which meant ALL of our ladies needed to step up.  There were so many positive things that came out of these matches which tell Coach Briggs and I what this team is made of and that was determination and a will to win!!!  In a couple of our matches we were down and the battles were very close and our team fought through and was able to get the W!!!!

    Beautiful day for some outdoor tennis at GFA!!! Our JV team proved to be victorious vs the GFA JV Team!!
    All of the courts showed great sportsmanship and kindness on the courts as well as some great tennis ability!
    Even our exhibition match came out with a WIN!  Way to go everyone on the team!!!
