SLS Junior Joins Jeopardy Tournament

VGP
Answer: A St. Luke’s junior selected for Jeopardy Teen Tournament
Question: Who is Porter Bowman?

In mid-April, fifteen teens ranging from 14-17 years old competed for the Jeopardy Teen title in Washington, D.C. and Porter Bowman ‘17 was one of them. Porter said, “It was an incredible experience. I fulfilled a childhood dream while spending time with and competing against some of the brightest high schoolers from across the country.” Porter added, “I even got to talk with Alex Trebek about St. Luke's basketball!”

Porter is going to leave us waiting for answers to the questions of how he fared and whether his comments about SLS basketball made it onto national television...until the fall when the episodes air.

The Jeopardy Teen Tournament taping was also featured in the Darien Times and on WLJA-TV.
