Academic Writing Workshop

Academic Writing Workshop. One-week course designed to address some of the most common writing challenges 9th- and 10th-grade students encounter. Face the new school year with an arsenal of writing strategies that save time and give you the confidence to write critically and efficiently.

Codebug. Learn to design and build websites using core languages: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery. Basic web development and more.
Offered virtually (Zoom) during the month of July.

College Essay Workshop

College Essay Workshop. Explore essential elements of strong personal and analytical writing, combining meaningful self-reflection and story development and structure.

Debate Camp. St. Luke’s Debate Camp focuses on preparing students for competition in speech and debate, building upon prior debate experience ahead of the 2021-22 tournament season.

Executive Function Skills for Upper Schoolers

Executive Function Skills for Upper Schoolers. Online, self-paced.  Enhance your executive function (EF) skills, which are essential in successfully managing your academic and daily life. Learning these skills can help you become a better planner, a more organized student, and a more strategic test taker.

Find Your Voice, Make a Difference

Find Your Voice, Make a Difference. Students in this program will be invited to reflect on questions that matter to every young person: Who are you? What is racism? Where does it come from? Why does it exist? What can you do to disrupt it?
Two one-week sessions (one for 6th-7th graders and the other for 8th-9th graders) available beginning August 16, 2021.

Health Mini-Course

CPR. The SLS CPR mini-course will certify students through the American Red Cross in CPR/AED and First Aid.

Drugs & Alcohol. Provides students with critical information about the use and misuse of alcohol and drugs, including over-the-counter, prescription, and illegal drugs.

Humanities Seminar: Nigeria

Humanities Seminar: Nigeria. This course will introduce a college-level discussion format and work to improve students’ writing and reading comprehension as they examine the diverse and interwoven narratives that give texture to this vibrant and relevant West African country, one that in addition to being Africa’s most populous, is expected to become a global economic powerhouse in the coming decades.

Multi-Sport Summer Camp

Multi-Sport Summer Camp. Unique multi-sport camp focusing on individual skill development as well as tactical and team strategies. Leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship are emphasized by experienced coaching staff. 
Five one-week sessions beginning June 14, 2021.

Personal Finance

Personal Finance. The Personal Finance summer enrichment course will offer an overview of introductory concepts such as checking and savings accounts, credit cards, and budgeting among other topics. The goal is to demystify the essentials surrounding how money is made, saved, and transacted in the digital age.

Summer Squash Camp

St. Luke's Squash Club offers a series of week-long intensive squash camps for players of all levels.
Three one-week sessions available starting June 14, 2021.
