    Parent Book Discussion: "My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew" by Abigail Pogrebin

    An evening for all St. Luke's parents: Join Jim Foley and Leo Mahler for a discussion of cultural identity inspired by My Jewish Year: 18 Holidays, One Wondering Jew by Abigail Pogrebin. The book is a great, informative and funny read but is not mandatory. The magic of these chats is connecting with other St. Luke's parents and sharing our different experiences and backgrounds.

    J-Term Symposium (9:10-11:15am)

    This is the culminating event of J-Term, when all 9th graders spend a week of mission-driven, project-based learning. Students will present their findings on their topics, and they also give suggestions for what next steps could be taken. Come one, come all!
