Workshop Description:
The Middle School Online Math Academy offers review and enrichment courses for SLS students rising into 5th-8th grade who would like a little extra practice with their Math 5, Math 6, Pre-Algebra, or Algebra 1 class ahead of the new school year. The class begins on Tuesday, June 30 and concludes on Tuesday, August 18, and consists of approximately two hours of Khan Academy instruction each week, which students can work through at their own pace, with an optional Zoom meeting time every Tuesday from 9am-10am with SLS math teachers Melissa Zurkowski and Susan Garnett. New material will be assigned every Tuesday at 10am.
When registering for this class, you’ll be asked to indicate the class that your child completed in the 2025-2026 year so that Mrs. Zurkowski can share a link to join the online class that will best help them review the material from their year. We look forward to working with your children!
