17th Annual Sonnets & Sweets Showcase
On January 14, the Shakespeare Honors Seminar students gathered at English teacher Susan Doran's home for the 17th annual Sonnets and Sweets Showcase. Homemade treats were enjoyed along with impressive recitations of sonnets from Hamlet, Othello and King Lear. Doran said, "From STEM nerds to aspiring actors, once again the seniors bold enough to tackle the Bard were nothing less than brilliant."
