St Luke's Ryan Murphy Nominated for Heart of a Giant Award

St Luke’s offensive lineman, Ryan Murphy ‘17, has been nominated for the USA Football Heart of a Giant award. The weekly honor recognizes football players in the NY-NJ-CT area with exceptional commitment, leadership skills, determination to succeed, and academic excellence.

Murphy was selected by USA Football as a week 1 nominee for the accolade. He is one of ten candidates and will progress to the grand final if he receives the most votes this week.

SLS Football also stand to receive $1500 in equipment and grant money if Murphy is successful and an additional $3500 if he is the overall winner.
