From Middle School Science Teacher Carrie Van Atten:
The fifth annual Prove It Expo (known as PIE Night) was once again a huge success. On Wednesday evening, St. Luke’s seventh graders literally put their scientific inquiry process skills to the test. Students learned about “real world” scientific topics while researching and developing a hypothesis, designing their own experiment, and collecting and analyzing data.
PIE Night provided a chance for students to show off their hard work and share their findings with a room filled with family, friends, peers, and teachers. It was a high-energy night of science and curiosity that was made even better by delicious pies and other desserts.
Congratulations to all the 7th graders on a job well done.
