St. Luke’s Wins First Place in French Competition
VGP
On May 16, St. Luke’s team of French students came in first place at the Olympics for World Languages (OWLS) competition at Southern Connecticut State University. Teams from around the state competed in French, Spanish, Italian and German groups. This all-day event included games similar to Password, 100,000 Pyramid, Scrabble and a trivia game. The challenge? They were all is foreign languages, but our students did très bien.
Félicitations to our St. Luke’s French five—Kelly Adams ‘17, Erik Eveland ‘16, Mark Forese ‘17, Jack Hobbs ‘17, and José Minuesa ‘17—for their participation and first place success.
