Chromebooks Rollout for Middle School Students

VGP
From Chief Technology Officer Bruce Strothenke:

This fall, the St. Luke's technology team was excited to provide Chromebooks to the 5th, 6th and 7th grades. This new program puts a laptop in the hands of every student in those grades. Teachers worked this summer to learn which computer programs are best to support education. 5th and 6th graders will leave their new laptops at school; 7th graders will be able to bring their laptops home after they've received some digital citizenship training. These tools are intended to help students better engage with class and foster collaboration for projects. If you have any questions about this exciting new program, please feel free to contact me—my door is always open.
