From Debate Coach Marina Perkins:

On Saturday, October 8, four members of the Upper School Debate Team competed in a Connecticut Debate Association tournament at Westhill High School in Stamford. The teams debated a resolution about education policy in three rounds. Chloe Kekedjian '18 and Bilal Memon '18 placed fourth in the varsity bracket, and Andres Falcon '19 and Marco Volpitta '20 placed second in the novice bracket. Both teams qualified for the State Finals. Marco was also awarded the prize for Best Novice Speaker.

The Debate Team is off to a terrific start, and looks forward to its next tournament in November.
