St. Luke’s Programmers Stand Out at Quinnipiac
St. Luke’s computer programming students who participated in the Quinnipiac University High School Programming Competition had two teams place in the top three.
St. Luke’s sent three teams of student programmers to the 13th annual Quinnipiac University High School Programming Competition on Saturday, April 14. Congratulations to the teams of Archer Goodwyn '21, Ellie Haljun '19, and Carolina Warneryd '19 (2nd place); Dominic DeMarco '20, Liam Patty '21, and Dennis Polyakov '18 (3rd place); and Hannah Amendola '19, Jack Briggs '19, and Jamie Ullman '20 (finalists).
At the one-day competition, 19 teams of three students from regional high schools worked to solve a wide range of computer science problems. Teams were ranked according to the number and speed of problems solved. We couldn’t be prouder of our talented programmers for this strong collaborative effort.
