And the Yearbook Dedication Goes to…

Each year, the Caduceus Yearbook is dedicated to a St. Luke's faculty.

For students interested in getting a yearbook, there is still the opportunity to purchase one.
On May 17, the entire school gathered in St. Luke’s Athletics Center for the annual yearbook dedication ceremony. Cate Van Elslander ‘18, a head editor of the Caduceus, announced this year's theme, “Back to the Basics,” which featured elements from yearbooks past, and dedication to Upper School English Chair Steve Flachsbart.

“Flachs’ energy makes even the most dull literature seem vibrant and awake,” said Cate. “His passion for teaching never wavers, and he makes everyone feel welcome. He is a vital part of the St. Luke’s community, and the combination of countless jokes and life lessons, in addition to his violin playing as students walk in to his classroom, will have a lasting impression on the senior class.”

In addition to Cate, Cameron Lyman was head editor and Emma Duryea handled senior editor duties.

Students still interested in getting a copy of the yearbook can order online through Tuesday, May 29. After that date, students can bring $85 (cash or check made out to “St. Luke’s”) to the Business Office, located upstairs in the 5th grade hallway.
