Evan Downey
St. Luke's Boys Varsity Basketball defeated FAA rival 89-60 on Wednesday night to move to 7-0 in league play.  The visiting Storm raced out to an early lead that they would never surrender.  The game remained close at halftime, before the Storm blew it open in the opening minutes of the second half.  Gavin Greene led St. Luke's with 21 points.  Cole Bryant (19 points), Kenny Soares (14 points), and Chuck Clemons (11 points) all joined Greene in double figures.  Christian Jones scored 7, Scott Vollmer and Lewis Cropper added 6, Jah'khi Washington contributed 5, and Nolan O'Brien dropped in a free throw to round out the Storm scoring attack.  After five straight away games, St. Luke's finally returns to the friendly confines of Carey Gymnasium on Friday afternoon to take on FAA rival King.  Tip is at 4:30pm.
