A Message to Parents, Siblings and Four-Legged Friends

S.A.
While in ordinary circumstances St. Luke’s welcomes and encourages parents and visitors to come to campus, we have had to adopt new protocols in an effort to keep everyone safe and healthy for the 2020-21 school year.

As a reminder, parents are permitted on campus during drop-off and pickup only and must remain in their vehicles. (Non-SLS siblings, pets, and other family and friends must also remain in the car.) If a parent needs to enter the building, special arrangements must be made prior to their arrival, and that parent must attest to being symptom-free and having no known COVID-19 exposures in the past 72 hours, as well as wear a properly fitting mask.

In addition, we know that as a parent you are often your athlete’s biggest cheerleader. However, we ask that you refrain from watching practice unless it’s safely from your car.

But don’t worry! St. Luke’s has plenty of ways to pass the time while you wait for your students to end class, after school activities or athletics.
  • Tune into WSLX at 91.9FM, St. Luke’s very own radio station broadcasting 24/7.
  • Peruse our student publications: The Pendulum (Literature and Art Magazine) and The Sentinel (Student Newspaper).
  • Check out the latest videos and podcasts from Eye of the Storm.
We know you miss being on the Hilltop, and we miss having you. We look forward to welcoming families back into school and across the campus as soon as it’s safe to do so. Until then, remember, we’re all in this together!
