Brian Gall ‘23 and Danny Gall ‘23 finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the second FAA cross country race of the season at Sherwood Island Park on Wednesday, Oct. 6.
The twin brothers were separated by just under seven seconds in the 5K race to help St. Luke’s finish fifth overall.
In a field of 157 runners, Brian finished with a time of 17:17.7, and Danny was timed at 17:24.5. Brody Ebright ‘25 finished next for the Storm in 37th place overall with a time of 19:50.0, shaving a minute and 20 seconds off his time from the first FAA race. This was the sophomore’s first time running under 20 minutes, so he was rewarded with a commemorative T-shirt, which is a St. Luke’s cross country tradition.
In the girls event, Jessie Hausman ‘22 finished 14th overall with a time of 22:11.7, a full minute and 14 seconds faster than in her first race. Hanna Zable ‘26 finished 40th overall for St. Luke’s with a time of 24:27.8, an incredible two minutes and four seconds quicker than her previous run.
Next Up: The St. Luke’s cross country team will host the Homecoming Fun Run on Saturday, Oct. 16, before the third FAA meet of the year at Brunswick School on Wednesday, Oct. 20
