Thirty-seven members of St. Luke’s MUN team participated in the 39th annual Ivy League Conference, hosted by the University of Pennsylvania. Our student executive board — Peter Cioffi ‘23, Andrew Parsons ‘23, Ethan Xia ‘23, and McLain Boege ‘24 — organized pre-conference workshops and training events to prepare our team for the biggest tournament of the year.
At UPenn, we were met by SLS alumni Aarit Bhatnagar ‘22 and Elyse Kim ‘21. Aarit, a member of the UPenn Model United Nations team, worked in the conference’s crisis committee backrooms. Elyse gave us a campus tour.
Out of 2,000 participants, two St. Luke’s students were recognized: McLaine Boege for her work on the historic crisis committee, and Ethan Xia for Outstanding Delegate with the Press Corps.
The SLS MUN team has another tournament at Cornell University, April 20-23.
