St. Luke's 11 KLHT 6

St. Luke's beat KLHT 11-6 to improve its record to 8-2 on the season. For their career, the Class of 2007 finished 6-0 against their crosstown rivals. After a 4-0 halftime lead, St. Luke's was able to finish the game out 11-6 on a goal by Jordan Lawrie (3g). On the day Stuart Oakford (1g, 4a) Ryan Walker (2g), Chase Begor (2g) and Derek Sellhausen (2g) all had standout games on offense. Steve Carey continues his great 2-way play with 1g, 1a. On defense Colin Meany was fantastic with 11 ground balls and Jay Sullivan continues to impress in goal with 12 saves. AJ Taliercio, Doug Stewart, Pat Short, Reed McDonagh and Mike Bornstein all contributed to the fine defense. Sophomore Greg Magill was great on the man-down team in his first varsity appearance.
