St. Luke's Introduces New Varsity Girls Lacrosse Coach - Amanda Williams

Dan Lyons
St. Luke's is excited to introduce Amanda Williams as the school's new head varsity girls lacrosse coach.

Amanda is a graduate of Sacred Heart University, where she received her BA in Sports Management and Finance.  While at SHU, Amanda played four years of Division I women's lacrosse.  During her career, Amanda was named team captain, received First Team All-Northeast Conference honors, and was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Year in 2009.

Recently, Amanda has held head coaching positions with the Connecticut Chargers, Darien Youth Lacrosse, Westport PAL, and Fairfield Ludlowe's Girls Lacrosse program.  She has also worked with a number of local lacrosse players at the SoNo Field House

Amanda recently met with the team for the first time, and is very excited to lead the Storm in 2013:

"It was fantastic meeting the girls last week and being able to talk lacrosse with an enthusiastic bunch. The players and I are looking forward to the start of the season! Hard work, trust and responsibility are the keys to a successful season."

Welcome to St. Luke's, Amanda!
