Dr. Barbara Greenberg: Teenage as a Second Language

VGP
Dr. Barbara Greenberg, psychologist and co-author of Teenage as a Second Language: A Parent’s Guide to Becoming Bilingual, recently spoke with a standing room only audience of St. Luke’s parents. Dr. Greenberg dispelled some myths about teenagers such as they do not care about their parents being around or care what they think. “When your teen hovers around you, he or she is often looking for your attention,” Greenberg said “but they usually want you to be quietly present.” Greenberg shared many insights about teens and lead a dynamic discussion with the captivated SLS parents.
