Western Region Music Festival

VGP
Five St. Luke’s students were selected to participate in the 2016 Western Region Music Festival. This event was held at Staples High School in Westport, CT on January 15-16, 2016. Katherine Adams '16 was chosen for Band while Skye Andersen '16, Nicholas Jodka '16, Mitchell Mount '18 and Michael Crispi '19 were in the Chorus.

The Band was under the direction Dr. Robert Franzblau from Rhode Island College, and the Chorus was under the direction of Dr. Cory Ganschow from Western Connecticut State University.

SLS Upper School Music Director Dale Griffa said, “This is one of the best experiences that high school musicians can have—to be with peers who enjoy making music as much as they do. I'm proud of our students' hard work and preparation—first to be selected and then to perform at the Festival.”
