VGP
Earlier this year, The Washington Post featured an article To get into college, Harvard report advocates for kindness instead of overachieving. The article highlighted a study by the Harvard Graduate School of Education called Making Caring Common and suggested significant changes in the college admission process.

On Monday, June 6 at 7:00pm, the Parents' Association, in conjunction with the College Counseling Office, welcomes Making Caring Common Research Project Senior Program Manager Trisha Ross Anderson. She will discuss the study and engage parents in a conversation that addresses their own concerns. Anderson background is not only in research, but also in teaching and educational programming.

All St. Luke’s parents (grades 5-12) are invited to this interesting and informative event which will be held in the Seldin Performing Arts.
