Walter Whyte Commits To Boston University

Dan Clarke

Congratulations to Walter Whyte ‘17 on his commitment to play Basketball at Boston University for 2017.

The 6’ 5 Small Forward from New Haven confirmed his commitment to the Terriers earlier this week and is delighted to with his decision. He said, “It feels great. It has been a long process but it’s great to finally have somewhere I can call home.”

St. Luke’s Head Basketball coach Drew Gladstone was thrilled with Whyte’s choice. He said: “For Walter to chose one of the top academic schools speaks a lot about his character, maturity, and forward thinking. While he could have gone with a more basketball-focused program, he went with one that had a great balance between high-level basketball and high-level academics. That's something you don't see a lot with 18 year old kids these days.”
