“St. Luke’s Theatre Company” Presents “Our Town”

V. Parker
Thorton Wilder’s classic play Our Town is coming to the Black Box Theater this weekend. This production is part of the newly created St. Luke’s Theatre Company. Director of Theatre Arts Jason Peck said, “This year we started offering an Honors Advanced Acting class called St. Luke’s Theatre Company. The selected play is rehearsed as part of the course during the school day. These students are delving deeper into the craft of acting and have a passion for storytelling.” Peck continued, “Working on Our Town has been a poignant reminder of the loss of  ‘thinking time’ as we rush madly through life, jamming activity into every moment.”

Our Town will be presented this Friday, December 3 and Saturday, December 4. Both shows will be at 4:00pm in the Black Box Theater. Admission is free and is open to the public. There will be another St. Luke’s Theatre Company production in April.
