St. Luke’s Winter Art Show Opens December 2

V. Parker
From Instructor of Photography, Digital Imaging and A.P. 2D Design Jeorge Yankura:

St. Luke’s Annual Winter Art Show which celebrates hundreds of our student artists opens on Friday, December 2. The artwork on display offers a variety of impressive artworks including sculpture, printmaking, painting, drawing, ceramics, photography and mixed media work. The Art Show is displayed throughout the School—in the Community Court, Fireplace Commons, music hallway gallery, and 5th & 6th grade wings. This annual event is an excellent opportunity for members of the St. Luke’s community to experience the creative endeavors of our student artists. Art Department Chair Sean Lynch notes: "Having work on display is a source of pride for our students. It’s a wonderful opportunity for each artist to share a bit of themselves with the St. Luke’s community."

The next time you’re visiting the school for a concert or any other reason, we encourage you to visit the Art Show to see all great work created by our students.
