St. Luke’s Hosts Spirited Special Olympics

V. Parker
From Director of Character Education Kate Parker-Burgard:

Once again, St. Luke's hosted a SpecialOlympics Basketball Tournament on the Hilltop, welcoming students from around Fairfield County for an afternoon of inspiring athletics. Our spring varsity teams along with many other student volunteers helped with introductions, score keeping and cheering on the participants. The athletes played their hearts out demonstrating determination and outstanding sportsmanship. Between the enthusiasm of the athletes and the cheering from the sidelines, it was exciting, energy-filled afternoon. St. Luke's is proud to be a lead supporter of Special Olympics in lower Fairfield County and we look forward to continued opportunities to celebrate their work with them.
