Slam Dunk for Special Olympics

V. Parker
From Director of Character Education Kate Parker-Burgard:

This year's Special Olympics hosted by St. Luke’s School was a spectacular celebration of athleticism, tenacity and good sportsmanship. With Special Olympics high school basketball teams coming from all around lower Fairfield County and St. Luke's varsity athletes cheering them on, we rocked the house.

The Special Olympics organizers always appreciate St. Luke’s enthusiastic student supporters as often at other tournaments it is only parents in the stands cheering on the athletes. From spectators to athletes, it was an inspiring afternoon for everyone.
