Volleyball hosts Maroon and White Tournament

Dan Clarke
The St. Luke’s Volleyball program hosted the fourth annual Maroon and White Tournament on Thursday, October 4, with 36 players across all grades participating.

The event was organized by seniors Maddie Harris, Susanna Montgomery, and Tierney Schiff, who worked hard to make the tournament a special experience. The trio set up and ran a practice with the Middle School to prepare for the tournament, organized the teams and referees, and also MC’d the event.

The afternoon brings 5th-12th graders together in a round-robin tournament in the spirit of bonding, teamwork, and fun.

The student-athletes are looking forward to the next program-wide event on Friday, Oct. 26, when they travel to New Haven to see the Yale volleyball team take on Princeton University.
