Fun Field Trip To Broadway Show

VGP
Last Saturday, some SLS Middle School students attended the Broadway matinee production of The Lion King. The group was a cross section of students—some planning to do the MS Winter Musical, The Lion King Jr. and others from the 8th grade acting class. They were chaperoned by Director of Theatre Arts Jason Peck as well as teachers and Lion King Jr. co-directors Leonora Mahler and Ty Wieland.  Peck said, “It is a show that depends on a tight-knit ensemble and the sooner the group has a chance to bond, the better.”
