Sarah Bibb Jumps To First Place

Dan Clarke
Congratulations to Sarah Bibb ‘20 for her first place finish at the HITS Winter Circuit International-Level Hunter/Jumper Horse Show in Ocala, FL.

Bibb traveled to Florida over spring break and competed in her first ever class A show in three different divisions: Hunter, equitation and jumper. As this was her first time riding at such an event, Bibb was really hoping to learn and gain experience but exceeded her own expectations by placing in several classes.

Bibb and her horse Roman competed against competition from all over the U.S. and excelled in her maiden equitation class earning a  first-place finish and therefore a blue ribbon. The success she enjoyed at the meeting means she will be elevated in class the next time she competes.

The St. Luke’s freshman, who has has been riding since she was 5-years old also served as her own groom at the event feeding and caring for Roman.
