Parents Talk Tech in Class

V.Parker
From Academic Technologist Matt Bavone:

St. Luke’s TE(A)CH Office was excited to launch its new course for 8th and 9th grade parents—Gaining Techspertise. The goal is to help parents grapple with the question of how to best assist their children in navigating the temptation-filled technological landscape of today. This blended course (conducted both online and in person) gives a cursory overview of current restriction tools, provides an open discussion about best practices and helps parents connect and learn from one another. The online part of the course started last week and on Thursday morning we had our first session in person. The class will run through early December.
