SLS Hockey’s Teddy Bear Toss: Wednesday, Dec. 14 at 4:30 p.m. vs King School

kb
SLS Varsity Ice Hockey faces off this Wednesday, December 14, against King for a very special event. The 2011 Teddy Bear Toss!!! This event is a popular Holiday community service event where fans are encouraged to bring teddy bears to a game, and to throw them onto the ice prior to the first face-off. The toys are then gathered up by hockey players of both teams to be donated as presents to the Person to Person organization. (The record for the most teddy bears is held by the Calgary Hitman, whose fans threw 26,919 bears on the ice on December 2, 2007.) With Wednesday’s game being played only 20 minutes from SLS at Stamford Twins Rinks and against one of our biggest FAA competitors, this is a match-up not to be missed. Come down to the rink and join us to support SLS Hockey and to support our community!
