Storm Squash Teams Finish the Season Strong at NEISA Championships

St. Luke's varsity boys and girls squash teams finished their 2013 seasons with strong showings at the the New England Interscholastic Squash Association championships this past weekend.
The Boys' Class 'B' tournament was played at Avon Old Farms School in Avon, Connecticut. The St. Luke's boys team finished second in the team standings, finishing just behind Brooks School (North Andover, MA). Christian Walsh '13 came out on top of his division, and each of the other Storm players came in the top six of each 15-player division. Alex Kamisher '13 finished third in his division, while James Watson '14 and Robert Morris '13 each finished fourth. St. Luke's finished with 83 points, just four behind Brooks School's 87 point total.
The St. Luke's girls went into their tournament in Pomfret, CT as an underdog, but after a strong performance the Storm finished eighth out of the 15 participating schools in Class 'B'. Hayley Parsons '14 finished second in the Division 1 tournament, giving the Storm 14 points towards the final score of 51. Lindsay Bralower '13 finished third in her division, while Paige Ballard '16 and Allie Christopher '13 each contributed nine points with their seventh place finishes. Dana Hall School (Wellesley, MA) finished in first in the girls' team rankings.
