Storm Twins Top Ten In FAA

The St. Luke’s Cross Country team enjoyed another fine performance in the FAA Championship race on Monday, October 28, with freshman twins Brian and Danny Gall ‘23 finishing inside the top ten. 

Brian ran another great race finishing fifth overall, with a time of 17:49.1. Danny came in eighth in a time of 18:13.6.

Jackson Hart ‘21 was next for the Storm finishing 28th overall, with a time of 20:01.4. He was followed closely by Jamie Ullman ‘20, who recorded a time of 20:12.5 to finish 31st. Charlie Adams ‘24 rounded out the top five for St. Luke’s, as he finished 34th overall in 20:33.5.

In the girls’ race, Marguerite DeMarco ‘21 finished in 38th place, with a time of 25:35.2. Cate Mathews ‘21 came in 45th place, running the 5K course in 27:12.9.

Head Coach Corliss Spencer was pleased with  the performance of her team: “ I am proud of all the runners and the effort they made that day. A special effort was made by Charlie Adams, who knew, as our fifth runner, his place in the overall race would be crucial. He ran his heart out to beat a number of older runners from some of our rival teams.”

Next up for the Storm is the New England Championship race at Hebron Academy in Maine on Saturday, November 9. The two Gall brothers, Hart, Nick DiCorpo ‘20, and James Adamini ‘20 will run for St. Luke’s.
