Visual Arts Week Celebrates Student Artists

S.A.
May 2-6 was Visual Arts Week at St. Luke’s. Throughout the halls, Forese Family Fireplace Commons, Community Court, and Class of 2019 Art Gallery, student artwork was displayed for everyone to enjoy.

As shared by Upper School Art Department Chair Sean Lynch, "Visual Arts Week gives us the opportunity to showcase all of the beautiful artwork created in St. Luke's visual art classes each year. Artwork from every art student adorns the school’s walls."

In the Middle School, art teachers Jessica Dowling and Samantha Mongardi added to the celebration of Visual Arts Week with daily activities, including an art-themed Kahoot game, spin art, a community weaving project with a loom, and open studio time for students to explore art projects during lunch.

If you were unable to visit the galleries, you can check out some of the students’ artwork here.
