In an exciting win over Greens Farms Academy, the girls' Maroon team set the fast-paced, agressive tone for the game as soon as they stepped on the court. After taking an early lead, SLS kept it for the remaining 24 minutes, save for a GFA run to tie the game in the second quarter. In the end, SLS won 40-26. All of the girls did a phenomenal job playing man-to-man defense, cutting without the ball, finding the open players with bounce passes, and rebounding. It was the best team effort of the season! "Hustler of the game" went to Lexie D. for her outstanding rebounding efforts, her hustle to get back on defenese and to move to open spots on offense, and for not being afraid of contact when she was under the hoop.
