Bobby Forese ’14 Throws No-Hitter in 10-0 Win over Masters

Bobby Forese ’14 led St. Luke’s baseball to its second straight victory with a dominant performance on the mound as well as at the plate in yesterday’s 10-0 win over The Masters School.
The junior threw five hitless inning for the Storm, striking out two Masters batters on the afternoon.  Forese was also strong with the bat, notching two hits including a triple.  Eliot Henson ’13 had a strong game, with a double, two stolen bases, and two runs scored for the Storm.  Charlie Nelson ’13 was also key in the win, scoring three runs.

The outing was Forese’s second straight win.  On Thursday, April 11, he struck out six batters and only surrendered two hits in a 7-1 St. Luke’s win over Christian Heritage.
St. Luke’s baseball is now 2-3 this season.  The team travels to Hamden Hall on Thursday.
