Marissa Ruschil ’15 was unhittable through her five innings in yesterday’s 19-0 win over Masters School in Dobbs Ferry, New York. Ruschil struck out 11 of the 15 Panthers batters she faced through five innings, and didn’t surrender a baserunner before the game was called.
While Ruschil dominated on the mound, the bats were also alive for the Storm. The team put up 23 total hits, including a home run from Jamie Schlim ’15, who led St. Luke’s with five RBIs on the afternoon. Jenny Price ’13 recorded four hits, including one double, and knocked in four runs. Janay Parrott ’13 and Ali Trager ’16 each contributed three RBIs of their own.
St. Luke’s is now 8-1 on the season. The next game is Monday, May 6 at School of the Holy Child.
