St. Luke’s Varsity Golf hosted the FAA Golf Tournament for the second year in a row at the Country Club of New Canaan on Monday.
Despite a strong showing from the Storm golfers, the team, which was 6-0 on the season heading into the Championship tournament, finished six strokes behind Brunswick.
Jacob Henny ’13 lead the way for St. Luke’s with a tournament-low 72 (+1). Cam Chottiner ’16 was one shot off the pace at 73. Jake Hamill ’13 shot an 80, Mike Kochanski ’13 and Alex Kamisher ’13 each registered an 85 on the round, and Jackson Kleinert ’13 shot an 87. As a team, St. Luke’s finished with a 395.
Brunswick finished in first with a team-low 389. Hopkins School finished in third at 436, followed by Rye Country Day (442), King (452), Masters (475), and Greens Farms Academy (481).
St. Luke’s Golf closes out the season with a match against Rye Country Day School on May 15 at 3:30 PM at The Apawamis Club in Rye, New York.
