St. Luke’s Model UN Team had an honorable end to its year earning four commendations at its final event of the school year. Last weekend, thirteen of the school’s Model UN members, along with advisor Abby Abbott and chaperone Matt Bavone, headed to a tournament in New York City. Students from 87 schools representing Morocco negotiated and discussed topics related to that country.

After a busy day of drafting resolutions, students relaxed with a night at the Modern Museum of Art (MOMA) and had fun at the largest board game cafe in the city.

St. Luke’s active Model UN Team has more than fifty members.
